My name is Ilona Markosyan and I am a Licensed Counseling Psychologist currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology at Yerevan State University. I have always been passionate about understanding the human mind and helping people overcome emotional and psychological challenges.
I earned my Master of Applied Psychology from Yerevan State University and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences (Athens, Greece). My undergraduate studies were fully funded by a scholarship from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Hellenic Republic, recognizing my academic achievements.

I’m continuously committed to expanding my expertise and staying updated in the field of psychology. I’ve undergone extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) through the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy. In my practice, I also use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), particularly for clients dealing with trauma.

Since 2015, I have been working in private practice, where I provide psychological counseling to individuals facing various mental health issues. I’m licensed in Greece (License number: 21174) and in Cyprus (License number: 21081). I am a member of the Pancyprian Society of Psychologists.

In addition to my clinical work, I have co- hosted a radio program called Modern Psychology on Russian Radio Cyprus, where I used to share psychological insights with the public.
Currently, I am co-hosting a tv project called Social Experiment in Cyprus television, Omega channel.

I am fluent in Armenian, Greek, Russian and English and have a basic understanding of Italian.
